Fisharium Glass is a magnified view of the native ecological system of the Delaware River. Sandblasted on the glass surface are different components of life in the river: native wetland plants, fish hiding among their roots, micro-crustaceans and microorganisms in a harmonious whirlwind. By peering through this glass veil of life into the actual workings of the river, visitors view the world in a multilayered way. The panels have a deeply sandblasted surface, allowing visitors to create their own rubbing and drawings, to take home to remember the extraordinary architecture of these creatures.
